About the variety: Grüner Veltliner is the emblematic variety of Austria, which in recent years has made very successful "steps" in Bulgaria, especially in the Svishtov region. It is a favorite of sommeliers because of its exceptional adaptability to food and its specific character.

Color: pale straw yellow.

Aroma: Aromas of green apple, lime and freshly cut grass dominate, as well as the white pepper typical of the variety, which is delicate but distinct.

Taste: Strong freshness and high acidity that literally "awakens" the palate. Fresh citrus fruits (lime, grapefruit), white peach. Delicate minerality and spicy-floral accent. Medium, very elegant and airy body with pronounced minerality.

Final: Medium long, ending with citrus freshness and a very light, pleasant bitterness (grapefruit peel).

Overall impression: An exceptionally "gastronomic" wine. It does not dominate the food, but complements it with its high acidity and peppery notes.

Food suggestions: fish, chicken schnitzel, seafood, grilled asparagus, green beans or salads with lots of parsley and mint, Vietnamese spring rolls, sushi or dishes with lemongrass and ginger.
